Nice review. There’s a different between paradox and incoherence. I have only started reading this book. It is so philosophically inept that it beggars belief. Maybe that wasn’t her intention: it is after all a long essay that rambles all over the place, and not a systematic or expository article. That being the case, why should we take her pronouncements as anything other than literary grandstanding?
